Fireworks – New Year’s Eve 2018
On Sunday 31 December 2017 at the Esplanade of the Atomium.

The City of Brussels celebrates New Year’s Eve with fireworks from Palais 5 at the Heysel. Spectators are allowed to watch from the Esplanade of the Atomium.

Schedule ‘BXL New Year 2018’
22h30. Dancing to timeless classics and the hits of the past year
23h. Show in the air (modern light opera in the sky)
23h40. Music and countdown to 2018
Midnight. Fireworks show (17 minutes) and DJ till 1 am

Access and safety measures
From 8:30 pm, the site will be closed. It will be open from 10 pm via next entrances:

Avenue de Bouchout – access A
Avenue de l’Atomium – accss B
Boulevard du Centenaire via the place Louis Steens – access C
Please note: checks will take place at the entrances. Bags and big objects will be prohibited. Glass bottles will be prohibited on the site of the event, as well as the private use of firecrackers and fireworks, as specified by the general police regulations. The organizers advise the use of public transport.

Avenue du Gros Tilleul at the Rond-Point Jean Offenberg closed from 20h30 to 1h30
